The Tarry trained pair of Mrs Geriatrix and Under Your Spell both picked up awards at Friday night's KZN Breeders Awards ceremony. Not only was the Clifton Stud bred Mrs Geriatrix named KZN Breeders Horse Of The Year and KZN Breeders 2YO Filly of the Year, Under Your Spell claimed the award of the KZN Breeders Older Female award on Friday.

Fresh off enjoying a double at Turffontein on Betway Summer Cup day, Sean and his team struck at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Sunday, when Sean sent out the high-class Thunderstruck to land The Bantry Bay Stakes over 1100 metres.

Sean and his team had to wait until the end of the day but the Tarry yard struck twice on Betway Summer Cup on Saturday, with Sean winning the last two races on the Turffontein card with Mrs Browning and Jet Dynasty respectively.

The Tarry stable had a good double at Turffontein on Friday evening when Sean's charges Ethanator and Radu won their respective races.

After a frustrating afternoon at Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Saturday, Sean and his team bounced back at Turffontein the following day, with the Tarry trained pair of Women Of Fame and Silver Hills both scoring on Sunday.

Sean sent out a smart looking debut winner on Saturday, when well bred three-year-old Garlandsofgreenery won convincingly at Turffontein.

Sean and his yard enjoyed a 1-2 finish in the seventh race at Turffontein on Thursday, where Celtic Rumours vanquished stablemate River Queraress into second place.

Sean and his yard sent out three-year-old Troppo Veloce to score a courageous win at the Vaal on Thursday afternoon. Under Calvin Habib, Troppo Veloce stalked the front runners, before coming with a late run to land Thursday's Free Kiddies Entertainment 28 October FM 90 Handicap (1000m) by three parts of a length.

Sean looks to have a very classy three-year-old on his hands in the form of Tail Of The Comet. The latter made it three wins from just four starts when romping to visually impressive win in Saturday's Cape Racing Sales The Ready To Run Stakes (1400m) at Hollywoodbets Durbanville.
